The next World Expo will be held between 13 April and 13 October 2025, at a site on the artificial Yumeshima Island in Osaka, Japan.

There is direct access to Osaka from the major world cities. Japan’s transport infrastructure is one of the world’s most highly developed systems.

A major international event

For Japanese people, every substance, be it of human, animal, vegetable or mineral origin, “carries life within it”. Expo 2025 Osaka conveys this vision with the theme that has been chosen for the Expo: “Designing tomorrow’s society, imagining our lives in the future”.
